Boulogne-sur-Mer Langues et Cultures is an examination centre for the TCF ANF (access to French nationality), the TCF Carte de résident en France, and the TCF Tout Public.

Boulogne-sur-Mer Langues et Cultures also organizes the DELF A2, B1, B2 and DALF C1 exams in July. These diplomas may be very useful for university enrolment or for your professional activity.

The TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français) is the language test recognized by the French Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It is used to assess the level and the general French language skills of people whose mother tongue is a foreign language.

The TCF ANF, as its name suggests, is intended for candidates seeking to acquire the French nationality. Anyone aspiring to the French nationality must have validated at least the level B1 in the following 4 skills: oral comprehension, written comprehension, written expression and oral expression.

The TCF for the French residence permit assesses the candidates' French language skills in oral comprehension, written expression and oral expression. It aims to validate the level A2 level in written and oral competencies.

The TCF Tout Public (TP) allows you to evaluate your French language skills for personal, academic or professional reasons.
The DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) and the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of Education, to certify the French language skills of foreign candidates and French nationals from a non-French speaking country who do not hold a French secondary or higher education diploma.

The DELF consists of 4 independant diplomas and the DALF consists of 2 independant diplomas corresponding to the 6 levels of the CECRL (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Thus, depending on his level, a candidate may register directly for the exam of his choice.

All 4 skills are assessed: oral comprehension, written comprehension, written production and oral production. Once obtained, the diploma is acquired definitively, i.e. the diploma is valid for life.
