Boulogne-sur-Mer Langues et Cultures is an examination centre for the TCF ‘Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité’ (IRN), as well as the TCF ‘Tout Public’ (TP).

TCF exam

The TCF (French knowledge test) is a language test by the french Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The global level and skills in french are evaluated for foreign people. BMLC proposes two types of TCF exams:

  • The TCF IRN – enrolment form – is destined to people wishing to obtain the french nationality (B1 level required), and those who desire a french residency card (A2 level required). Demanded level must be reached for all four evaluated skills: oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression.
  • The TCF TP – enrolment form – evaluates french skills for personal, academic or professional reasons.

 

Delivered certificates are valid for two years after obtention.
